A self-shuttling freeride sled

Pinkbike framed the Flux One Pro as a big-travel freeride machine with a built-in shuttle back to the top — long-travel, high-pivot suspension that lets you lap jump tracks and big descents without the climb being a chore.

  • 178mm rear travel (170mm with a 29" rear) and a 180mm fork
  • Full carbon, Category-5-rated frame with mixed (MX) wheels
  • Sub-50 lb despite the travel and the 800 Wh battery

The DJI Avinox M2S motor

The motor was a standout — Beer singled out its torque-to-weight ratio and real-world climbing punch:

  • Up to 150 Nm of torque from a 2.6 kg motor package
  • Comfortably out-climbs a Bosch CX on steep grades
  • Inlaid OLED touchscreen, plus a handy USB-C output for a bar light
“Extremely lively for a powerful e-bike.”Matt Beer · Pinkbike

Surprisingly playful geometry

The big surprise was how lively the Flux felt for a bike in this category:

  • Easy to manual and quick into corners, yet happy to be pushed into bigger terrain
  • A not-overly-slack 63.8° head angle, with flip-chip geometry and wheel-size options
  • A steep 78.3° seat tube angle that keeps you planted on the steepest climbs

Genuine value

With a carbon frame, full Fox suspension (Factory level on the Pro) and a Shimano XT Di2 drivetrain, Beer rated the build as reasonable value next to rivals running less powerful motors.

The verdict

Beer was honest about the trade-offs — the 800 Wh battery caps peak power, and the short chainstay rewards a careful suspension setup — but the overall picture is a compelling freeride eMTB from a brand worth watching.

“A compelling option in the big-hitter category.”Matt Beer · Pinkbike
