eMTB Range and Battery: How Far Can You Really Go?

Guide

eMTB Range and Battery

How far you can really go, what changes it, and how the 800 Wh Avinox battery holds up.

Range is the question every eMTB buyer asks, and the honest answer is: it depends. Here is what actually determines how far you go.

What determines your range

  • Assist mode. Full power drains far faster than a lower or adaptive mode.
  • Terrain and elevation. Long, steep climbs use far more.
  • Rider and cargo weight. More weight, more energy.
  • Temperature. Cold weather reduces range.
  • Tyres and pressure. Grippy tyres and low pressure add rolling resistance.

The Teewing battery

Every 2026 Teewing runs an 800 Wh battery through the DJI Avinox M2S drive. That is a large pack, sized for genuine all-day rides. The Avinox smart Auto mode reads your effort and the terrain and adjusts assistance for you, which stretches range. When you need to top up, the Avinox fast charger turns it around quickly.

Battery health over timeThe Avinox battery uses an intelligent management system, and DJI rates it to retain about 80% of its capacity even after 500 full charge cycles. In plain terms, it is built to still deliver strong range after years of riding.

Looking after it

  • Store it around room temperature, not freezing or very hot.
  • In winter, keep the battery warm before a ride and expect some drop in cold-weather range.
  • Charge with the supplied Avinox charger.
