The DJI Amflow PL, Explained (and How to Get One)
The DJI Amflow PL, Explained
The bike that put DJI's Avinox motor on the map, why it is so hard to get, and what to ride instead.
If you have been researching the DJI Avinox motor, you have almost certainly run into the Amflow PL. It is the bike that launched the Avinox drive and earned a wave of glowing reviews. It is also very hard to actually buy. Here is what it is, and how to get the same motor on a bike you can ride this season.
What the Amflow PL is
The Amflow PL is a full-carbon, full-power electric mountain bike built around DJI's Avinox M2S motor. It made headlines for a light frame, strong power, fast charging and DJI's slick app and display. Reviewers loved it, and demand went through the roof.
Why it is so hard to get
Simple: demand has run far ahead of supply, and distribution has been limited in many regions, including Canada. Riders keen on the Avinox drive have found themselves on waitlists or hunting for stock that never seems to appear.
The same drive, in stock
Here is the good news. Teewing builds full-carbon eMTBs around the very same DJI Avinox M2S drive, and holds them in stock in Canada. You get the motor, the fast charging and the smart controls that made the Amflow famous, with Fox Factory suspension and support based here.
Where to start
The Flux One is the enduro-focused option, and the Turbo Force is the do-it-all trail bike that starts lower. Both use the Avinox drive. See our Teewing vs Amflow comparison for the full side by side.
